I’m Steve Sunseth, a Social Worker and Psychotherapist offering trauma informed psychotherapy for adults. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, shut down, anxious, emotionally numb, or stuck in long standing patterns like people pleasing, hypervigilance, self doubt, or difficulty with closeness.
I specialize in supporting adult adoptees and adults with adverse childhood experiences. Our work focuses on nervous system regulation, building self trust, and gently understanding the “why” beneath your reactions without forcing you to relive the past. My approach is collaborative, paced, and grounded, with a strong focus on safety, agency, and helping you feel more like yourself.
